On Thursday 23 July, Ian King, Chief Executive of BAE Systems, visited Air Prestwick’s headquarters and whilst there recognised the 80th anniversary of the Prestwick site.

In 1935 Prestwick began its long association with aviation excellence with the creation of Scottish Aviation Ltd. The company later became the Scottish Division of British Aerospace and is now BAE Systems Air Prestwick.
