Civil Aviation in the Middle East - Steve Doughty
Steve Doughty, BAE Systems Regional Aircraft’s Vice President Sales & Marketing, Asset Management, provided an overview of the potential market in the Middle East for regional aircraft at the Civil Aviation in the Middle East Conference held in conjunction with the Dubai Air Show on 22 November 2005. The paper discusses the current misuse of large wide body aircraft and single aisle twins on short regional sectors in the area and contends that as deregulation and market forces take hold, frequencies will increase leading to a growth market for smaller regional aircraft.

Growth in Regional Aviation - Paul Stirling

Paul Stirling, BAE SYSTEMS Regional Aircraft's Senior VP - Asset Management, provided an overview of the regional aircraft sector in a paper presented on 28 February, 2003 at the 17th annual Geneva International Aviation Forum in Switzerland. Entitled "Growth in Regional Aviation," it reviews BAE SYSTEMS Regional Aircraft's leading position in lease management services, looks at what is happening in the regional market today, assesses the competitive situation, and sets out the future of regional aircraft lessors.
