A combat proven multi-role, variable-geometry, aircraft which has been developed for ground attack and air defence. Over 950 aircraft have been produced and it sees operational service with the RAF in three different versions
- GR4 - a major mid-life upgrade to the GR1 providing covert operations capability
- GR4A - a low-level, high speed reconnaissance version
- F3(ADV) - the air defence variant
AM&PS produced revisions to the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Repair manuals, Aircraft Battle Damage and Inspection (ABDAI) manual and Illustrated Parts Catalogue for the Royal Air Force Tornado's GR4 ,F3 (ADV) and the GR1 variant before its removal from service.
